The Adventures Of Bob
The Adventures Of Bob 0.4
(under development)
How to play:
Use the mouse to play. You can move (as long as you have enough moves), attack and drink potions. If you run out of moves and want to end your turn without using an action, press the right mouse button. Click on potions to restore your health.
Additions:
- HUD
- Sounds
- Enemy behaviour
- Camera
- Title Screen
- Bug fixes
Experiment:
This will be a retro RPG with isometric view. This is the fourth version of the game. It's part of an experiment, where I create a game that is playable right from the start. Therefore it's a finished game always (sort of...) Every now and then I will add features to the game, but I can never break the game.
I will make a dev log series on YouTube about this game (and experiment).

Was this game built with MicroStudio? The idea is nice, but it needs more love.
Hey there! Just watched the next Gamedev Video of Bobs Adventure and in the middle of it, i really thought i want to play it, then i got really excited after you announced that there is a playable version of it for us!
I really liked the feeling of the game, there is just one thing i have to say about it and you already mentioned it in the Video.
After i finished all my moves and they notice me, i had to press E to continue. E as a skipable option is a good idea, but if you come up to them and they notice you the game somehow stops until you skip (i only just now saw the mouse skip option).
:D
wow the new one is great! but i can't get the potions!
are you gonna change the collecting candy to optional and add enemies? then i recommend you watch minecraft rpg for ideas, it has a good fighting system (for the second one)
Yes, I am going to. Thanks for the tip, I'll go and watch that
I can't wait to see how far you will go from this. Good luck on your game dev journey :)
Thanks! I'm working hard on the next version!
